PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: April 16, 2026

Plain English summary: We collect only what we need to run the product. We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. Your sprint data, tasks, and ticketing content belong to you. You can export or delete it at any time.

1. Who We Are

RADAR9 ("we", "us", "our") is a sprint management product operated by Ankush Vats, based in India. If you have any questions about this policy, reach us at chief@radar9.tech.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect data in two ways: what you give us, and what is generated when you use the product.

Information you provide directly:

  • Email address (when you join the waitlist or create an account)
  • Name and company name (when you set up your profile)
  • Sprint content, tasks, time box entries, and ticket data you create inside the product
  • Google Calendar data (only if you connect your Google account via OAuth — we request read/write access to sync time blocks)
  • Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider — we never store your card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers)

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps of actions
  • Device and browser information: browser type, operating system, screen resolution
  • IP address (used for security and abuse prevention, not for tracking)

We do not currently use any third-party analytics or tracking tools on the landing page. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and notify existing users.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes and nothing else:

  • To provide and operate the RADAR9 product (sprints, time boxing, ticketing, burndown charts)
  • To sync your time blocks with Google Calendar (only if you opt in)
  • To send you product updates, sprint notifications, and account-related emails
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats
  • To improve the product based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not train AI models on your content.

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Period.

We may share data only with service providers who help us run the product (e.g., hosting, email delivery, payment processing). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

5. Google Calendar Integration

If you connect your Google account, we access your Google Calendar data solely to sync time blocks between RADAR9 and your calendar. We request only the permissions necessary for this feature. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, or any other Google service. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your RADAR9 settings, and we will stop accessing your calendar data immediately.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

No system is 100% secure. While we take every reasonable precaution, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and content within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., payment records for tax compliance).

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or the waitlist period ends.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
  • Correct — Update or fix inaccurate data
  • Delete — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export — Download your sprint data, tasks, and tickets in CSV or JSON format
  • Withdraw consent — Disconnect integrations (e.g., Google Calendar) or unsubscribe from emails at any time
  • Object — Object to processing of your data for specific purposes

To exercise any of these rights, email us at chief@radar9.tech. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the product to function (e.g., session authentication). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy.

10. Children

RADAR9 is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at chief@radar9.tech and we will delete it promptly.

11. International Users

RADAR9 is operated from India. If you access the product from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India. By using RADAR9, you consent to this transfer. We take steps to ensure your data is protected regardless of where it is processed.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the product. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of RADAR9 after changes means you accept the updated policy.
